Short bio

Virginia Montaruli was born in Syracuse (SR) in January 1995. She studied at the Polytechnic of Bari where she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Management Engineering in November 2017. In February 2020 she received a Master’s Degree in Management Engineering by presenting a thesis on Analysis and Systems Simulation entitled “Large-scale railway traffic control for passengers’ delay minimization “, carried out in collaboration with the Delft University of Technology.

She is currently working at the IoT4.0 public-private laboratory born from the partnership between Elettric80 s.p.a., SM.I.L.E.80 s.r.l., ISIRES – Research organization S.R.L. and Polytechnic of Bari, carrying out technological and innovative development activities in terms of optimization and control for the Transport Management System.
